Nerimbera Football Club, founded in 1910, is Queensland’s oldest continuously running football clubs, based at Pilbeam Park in Koongal, Rockhampton – where the mountains meet the river. Proudly known as the Magpies, we have played in the region for more than a century. Nerimbera has survived wars, floods, droughts and even the destruction of our clubhouse in Cyclone Marcia, rebuilding with the help of our community and preserving memorabilia dating back to 1910. Today we remain a family-focused, volunteer-run club with a strong sense of heritage, connection to Country, and a commitment to giving players of all ages a great place to play, belong and love for the game.

We take pride in caring for Pilbeam Park – we work hard to maintain the playing surface and tidy facilities so that visitors can enjoy their football experience.
